We encourage paperless grading practices for English teachers using laptops and tablet devices. Our goal is to help teachers transition from paper-based to screen-based approaches. The teachers involved in this initiative are using different methods to collect projects from students, annotating student projects with different apps and software programs, grading on different types of devices, and exploring the affordances and constraints of ancillaries such as styluses and tablet cases.

The Digital English Studio received a $4,000 grant for this project from ETS.
